These prayers are beautiful and powerful! The heart this writer has for our Savior Jesus truly comes through, which I feel is important when speaking prayer over my life. Would definitely recommend.

If I hadn’t had to go to work, I would have read this book in one sitting. (I’m so glad I didn’t start it right before bed. LOL) What a fun adventure! When My Lion Calls is a great read for ages thirteen to ninety three. Set in a dystopian society with no surviving adults, this Christian allegory uses a Lion to represent Christ. Although this may not be entirely original, the rest of the story is. There is plenty of action to keep you turning the pages. And there are great young characters, each with their own set of issues. It was easy to find my own strengths and weaknesses in those of the characters in the book. So I had no trouble relating to them, despite the fact they were all much younger than me. The best thing about young characters is that they learn and grow and change. If only all of us would be so open to Christ’s leadership rather than set in our ways.

Yet another exciting and descriptive adventure from Tara Fairfield! This book sets the stage for a great series to come, with a strong heroine, and dynamic supporting characters. It has everything you have come to expect from this author’s work: deep friendships, adventure, emotional struggle, spiritual growth and a love story. This was a page turner that I read in one sitting, and was on the edge of my seat the entire time. Can’t wait to read book two!
